Uzbudljivo natjecanje iz područja robotike održano je 10.4.2024.g. u Modelarskom centru Kutina pod nazivom “ROBOTIKA / NEW STEM Kutina – ABECEDA budućnosti”. Ovo međuškolsko natjecanje okupilo je učenike svi osnovnih škola uključenih u projekt NEW STEM Kutina – ABECEDA budućnosti kako bi demonstrirali svoje vještine u programiranju robota Maqueen koristeći Python programski jezik.

Natjecanje je bilo organizirano u obliku ekipnih grupa, pri čemu je svaka škola imala priliku predstaviti se s 2 – 6 natjecatelja. Iako pohađanje radionica robotike nije bilo obavezno, natjecatelji su morali posjedovati određeno znanje iz područja robotike i programiranja u Python jeziku kako bi se uspješno …

Posjetitelji će moći aktivno sudjelovati u brojnim radionicama uz Promociju znanosti-matematičke znanosti /crtice matematike u tehničkoj kulturi.

Projekt je financiran kroz Financijski mehanizam Europskog gospodarskog prostora (EGP) 2014. – 2021 Islanda, Lihtenštajna i Norveške uz nacionalno sufinanciranje Republike Hrvatske u okviru Programa „Lokalni razvoj i smanjenje siromaštva“.

In the late afternoon, the first 3D workshop came to an end, and the students are sitting in the benches - learning, working! Can the workshop last even longer!?

It can! Lecturer Sebastian Schneider will prepare teaching material for the extra time the students want to spend at the next workshop.

The cheerful, active and curious students of Zvonimir Frank Elementary School did their first programming during a rainy afternoon. They creatively combined the sounds of the robot (demonstration equipment by MC Kutin) and the tapping of raindrops on the classroom windows. With the sound of the students' victorious laughter - because the program worked exactly as it was supposed to!

Although the STEM workshops conducted by MC Kutina have different methods and tools for work and learning in terms of content, in each workshop, not only the one on 2.5. Activity Application of STEMA in film art, students are taught to use a recording tool - some type of video camera, but also that they want and know how to say, in the form of an interview or a staged short content, what they are learning about and/or what their impressions are.

For the majority of students, attendees of MC Kutin's workshops at Banova Jaruga Primary School, 3D technology was - exactly what they wanted to learn! Enlightened by watching videos on 3D technology, they were ready to listen carefully to a lecture on 3D design, then apply it. And finally see "live" how the designed object is printed on MC Kutin's demonstrative 3D printer.

Robotics in subject classes at Banova Jaruga Elementary School attracts students who already have a vision and certain, at least theoretical, knowledge of what robotics means and what programming is. And they are ready to step into the world of robotics and programming at far more serious levels. The world of STEM is opening up!:)

At Banova Jaruga Primary School, the students' great interest and desire to learn was shown already during their first encounter with robotics and programming. The order of theory and the order of practical work involved the students in active work. The workshops take place in an atmosphere in which the students hardly agree to vacations! How could there be no interest when MC Kutin's demonstrative robots began to execute the commands that the students had learned to program:)

Activity 2.1. 1. Robotics in the computer science elective course - classroom teaching at Vladimir Vidrić Elementary School is very active: working at the computer, following the workshop leader's instructions, programming, running to the track to test what has been programmed. It is a great joy when the result of the movement of the vehicle (the demonstration robots of MC Kutin) is programmed exactly as the young programmer imagined:)
