Little NEW STEM video news – Banova Jaruga

Although the STEM workshops conducted by MC Kutina have different methods and tools for work and learning in terms of content, in each workshop, not only the one on 2.5. Activity Application of STEMA in film art, students are taught to use a recording tool - some type of video camera, but also that they want and know how to say, in the form of an interview or a staged short content, what they are learning about and/or what their impressions are.

In Banova Jaruga Primary School, this is how it was recorded what was done and what impression was expressed :)

Elementary School Banova Jaruga Activity 2.5. Application of STEM in film art

The creative people of Banova Jaruga Primary School, those who have already tried their hand at least a little in film expression or those who are just learning about film expression for the first time - follow MC Kutin's workshops with interest. "Teamwork" is very important for the creation of a film, so even the rest breaks in the workshops are turned into an activity - the physical and mental one is the most interesting. Putting together puzzles, but not ordinary ones - excellent relaxation! A lot of scenarios were created based on the content of books, of various literary genres. And that should be investigated :)

Elementary School Banova Jaruga Activity 2.2. Robotics, 3D design, 3D printing - subject teaching/extracurricular activity

For the majority of students, attendees of MC Kutin's workshops at Banova Jaruga Primary School, 3D technology was - exactly what they wanted to learn! Enlightened by watching videos on 3D technology, they were ready to listen carefully to a lecture on 3D design, then apply it. And finally see "live" how the designed object is printed on MC Kutin's demonstrative 3D printer.

Robotics in subject classes at Banova Jaruga Elementary School attracts students who already have a vision and certain, at least theoretical, knowledge of what robotics means and what programming is. And they are ready to step into the world of robotics and programming at far more serious levels. The world of STEM is opening up!:)

Elementary School Banova Jaruga Activity 2.1. Robotics in the computer science elective course - class teaching

At Banova Jaruga Primary School, the students' great interest and desire to learn was shown already during their first encounter with robotics and programming. The order of theory and the order of practical work involved the students in active work. The workshops take place in an atmosphere in which the students hardly agree to vacations! How could there be no interest when MC Kutin's demonstrative robots began to execute the commands that the students had learned to program:)

NEW STEM KUTINA – THE ALPHABET OF THE FUTURE in VLADIMIRA VIDRIĆ Elementary School

Activity 2.5. Application of STEM in film art

The winter days at Vladimir Vidrić Primary School are spent in a valuable, creative and stimulating atmosphere through the conduct of workshops by MC Kutin. Students of various ages, with the support of their teachers and professional staff, attend the workshops intended for this cycle of lectures with great interest. Some of the students attend several thematic workshops because they are interested in several areas. And there are those who profiled themselves in one interest. Together, they create a great picture of young minds who, eager for knowledge and acquiring new skills, step through the stimulating opportunities provided by society: motivation to work in STEM fields, adoption of new...

Application of STEM in film art

Activity 2.5. The application of STEMA in film art proceeds actively and very dynamically because, in addition to theory, students have the opportunity to see film equipment (showing equipment by MC Kutin), so both students and the leader move around the entire classroom, in order to follow the theme of the workshop at all times.

Robotics in the computer science optional class at Vladimir Vidrić Primary School

Activity 2.1. 1. Robotics in the computer science elective course - classroom teaching at Vladimir Vidrić Elementary School is very active: working at the computer, following the workshop leader's instructions, programming, running to the track to test what has been programmed. It is a great joy when the result of the movement of the vehicle (the demonstration robots of MC Kutin) is programmed exactly as the young programmer imagined:)
