As part of the project NEW STEM Kutina - ALPHABET of the future, in the school year 2022/2023. the Kutin Mathematical League season 2022/2023 was organized.
The Kutin Mathematical League is a math competition that takes place through five rounds in which students from 2nd to 8th grade in all five Kutin elementary schools compete.
The first two rounds are qualifying rounds in which all students who want to compete can apply. After the qualifying rounds, the 50% best placed students from each school, according to the average points from the qualifying rounds, pass to the next two rounds.
Three first-placed students from each grade of each school and another five students according to placement for students from 4th to 8th grade, and 10 best placed for 2nd and 3rd grade, advance to the final final round.
More than 350 students from all 5 Kutin schools applied for the competition and passed two preliminary rounds, after which 208 students continued the competition and qualified for the league.
After two rounds of the league, the three best students per class from each school (marked in yellow in the table) advanced to the final round. Also, from the joint list of unplaced students (from 4th place downwards), five more students each made it to the finals, except in the 2nd and 3rd grade competition, where 10 more students from the same list made it to the finals (marked in green in the table ).
150 students will perform in the final round, and the final round will take place on April 26, 2023.

The Kutin Mathematical League is a mathematics competition for students of Kutin primary schools designed in the Stjepan Kefelje Elementary School in the 2016/2017 school year. At that time, it was a pilot project of a mathematics competition for fifth-graders at the time, which was called the Petaša Mathematical League, and the sponsor of the league was SELK. Two years later, the idea was transferred to all grades (except the first), all five primary schools in Kutin, so under the auspices of the Center of Excellence, which operates under the Association of Technical Culture, a competition was created in the format it has been held to this day. 2018/2019 school year, the first KML winners were obtained.
2019/2020 During the school year, high school students also participated in the competition. It took a break for two years, but this school year, the Kutina Mathematical League season 2022/2023 is being held through the City of Kutina's project "New STEM Kutina - ALPHABET OF THE FUTURE".
