Trainer training - Professional training and education program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Activity, a program of professional training aimed at developing the STEM skills of 100 teachers and other educational workers in 5 partner primary schools, founded by the City of Kutina, is being implemented:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The importance of teaching STEM in the primary school education system:<\/strong> the topics are the importance of teaching STEM in primary school education and ways of designing and implementing successful models of teaching STEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Development and implementation of informal educational activities in the STEM field of mathematics:<\/strong> The training is conducted by a partner from Norway, Volda University College, on the topic of development and implementation of informal educational activities for teachers in the STEM field of mathematics, development of teaching practices, models and learning strategies in primary education based on research in the STEM field of mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Introduction to robotics for elementary school teachers:<\/strong> it is carried out by the Kutina Modeling Center, the Project-Technical Coordinator for Robotics and Modeling and the Workshop Leader, with the guidance of the FSB. The workshop will have 4 topics: basics of building a 3D printer, putting it into operation and preparing 3D objects for printing, basics of 3D design in the Fusion360 program and 3D printing of designed objects, robot programming workshop - beginner, robot programming workshop - advanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Education:<\/strong> Product development-CAD and prototyping: 3D modeling in CAD (Solidworks)-from model to prototype;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VR in product development:<\/strong> introduce teachers to VR technologies and applications in the STEM field and give them the opportunity to try out the technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Industry 4.0<\/strong> \u2013 learning factory and artificial intelligence: introducing teachers to the concept of Industry 4.0 and artificial intelligence with a focus on machine learning, introducing the concept of a smart factory through the learning factory installed at FSB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Education: <\/strong>AI and machine learning: introducing teachers to the basic concepts and methods of machine learning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Study trip\/Example of good practice\/Norway:<\/strong> A visit to Volda Universitiy College and a Norwegian elementary school that went through the trainer training program "Development and implementation of informal educational activities in the STEM field of mathematics"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational program to strengthen STEM skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Robotics in the computer science elective course - classroom teaching:<\/strong> as part of the computer science elective in 4 grades of schools, it will be conducted by class teachers from the Kutina Modeling Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Robotics, 3D design and 3D printing:<\/strong> for students, a subject-extracurricular activity, the organization of which is the responsibility of the Project and Technical Coordinator for Robotics and Modeling and the Workshop Leader from the Kutina Modeling Center, with the mentoring work of FSB professors. The workshop will be held once a week for 12 months. The final part is the robot competition on the training ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Education: Modeling and prototyping:<\/strong> workshop intended for gifted students of mathematics and physics on the topic of 3D modeling in CAD (Solidworks) - from model to prototype.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. VR in product development:<\/strong> workshop intended for gifted students of mathematics and physics, the goal is to familiarize students with VR technologies and applications in the STEM field and give them the opportunity to try the technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Application of STEM in film art:<\/strong> It will be conducted by Modelarski. Center Kutina (experts in photography and film). STEM tools and knowledge used in filmmaking, special effects, VR. The filmmakers will record video materials for the documentary film and other promotional activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Education: Artificial intelligence:<\/strong> for gifted students of mathematics and physics, introduction to the concept of artificial intelligence and machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Field teaching:<\/strong> Visit to the smart factory installed at FSB: introduce students to the concept of smart industry 4.0 and smart factory through the learning factory installed at FSB. Outputs of the activity: 1 visit to the learning factory at FSB, 42 hours of preparation for the visit, 5 hours of implementation of the visit, 100 students involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Example of good practice - Visit to a smart factory:<\/strong> according to the concept of a smart factory for students. Output: 1 factory visit, 30 hours of FSB preparation, 20 hours of visit implementation, 50 students and 5 teachers involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Kutin Mathematical League:<\/strong> student competition in mathematics (5 schools).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Workshops for making rc radio gliders and airplanes:<\/strong> The extracurricular activity promotes modeling\/technical culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Study visit to the CRTA Regional Center at FSB:<\/strong> prize for the winners of KML. Outputs: 1 study visit organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12. Education: STEM field of chemistry and biology:<\/strong> Extracurricular activity, in 5 schools, 20 different workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modernization and procurement of STEM equipment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The activity involves the modernization of space and the procurement of STEM equipment for the establishment of 5 STEM classrooms in 5 Kutin primary schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The establishment and equipped classrooms will serve for the implementation of activities in the project, the maintenance of regular and elective classes, and extracurricular and extracurricular activities. Professional training program in the field of ICT use, entrepreneurship and active citizenship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Trainer training - Professional training program aimed at developing the skills of 100 teachers and other educational workers of Kutin primary schools in the field of ICT, entrepreneurship and active citizenship contributes to the achievement of the results of the 3rd Project "Improved skills of 100 teachers and other educational workers, and the skills 600 students, of which 300 are students with special needs in the field of ICT application in learning, development of active citizenship and development of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The achievement of the subject result is achieved through the implementation of activities aimed at 100 teachers in 5 primary schools in Kutin. Activities are carried out in the field of ICT application in education. The development of entrepreneurship, i.e. the competence of teachers in the subject area, is carried out during the Start Drill Camp educational workshop for the development of entrepreneurship. student entrepreneurial cooperatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expected learning outcomes: understanding the process of entrepreneurial thinking from an idea to a sustainable business, mastering the process of mentoring in the development of an entrepreneurial way of thinking, knowledge of user development and the lean startup approach to the development of entrepreneurial ventures, familiarization with the Startup Drill board and lean cavas tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outcomes of the activity: 15 teachers involved, 1 professional training held. In the area of active citizenship development, the Rijeka Faculty of Teachers is implementing a professional development program for working with students with special needs "Early educational interventions for students with learning and behavioral difficulties".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational program to strengthen skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The achievement of the subject result is achieved by the implementation of activities aimed at 600 in 5 primary schools in the area of Kutina, of which 300 are students with special needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The achievement of results in the field of active citizenship and entrepreneurship is a consequence of the implementation of the activity for students: "Environmental protection through the promotion of ecology": The goals of the workshop are the promotion of ecology and sustainable living, the promotion of informal education and group work, the stimulation of creativity and innovation, the creation of new methods and models in production and use of recycled paper, introduction to the process of design and production of products. The outputs of the activity are: 25 workshops (5 workshops with different topics in each individual school in the area of the City of Kutin).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The use of ICT in education will be applied through the development of an educational and social application for digital learning and entertainment that will be used by students of all 5 schools in the implementation of regular classes and extracurricular activities, and the application will also be used in working with students with disabilities in learning, behavior and communication in implementing the program of work with them as part of the Project. The application will facilitate and modernize the educational process of STEM content through the digitization of teaching materials with the addition of games, that is, fun in learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The development of active citizenship will also be encouraged through the participation of students in workshops on the importance of volunteering "The importance of volunteering in the development of the local community". It will consist of two parts, one of which focuses on the importance of volunteering in the local community, and the second part will talk about the benefits of volunteering for the person himself and his development in the local community. Likewise, students will be introduced to the work of a local volunteer center organized through the work of a local civil society organization, and they will be able to get involved in its further work. Through the implementation of the project, work with students with special needs, i.e. students with problems in behavior, learning and communication, is strongly encouraged, therefore the "Program of work with children with special needs, i.e. problems in behavior, learning, communication and speech, will be organized in the same as an extracurricular activity in S. Kefelje Elementary School, Mate Lovrak Elementary School and the Special Department in Z. Frank Elementary School. Outputs of the activity: 30 children included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
